Career Objective:
Engineer familiar with the software process and operational troubleshooting, and development. Experienced at deep diving and root cause resolution of recurring issues. Owning ticket queues, new and recurring problems, and driving both temporary and permanent solutions to those problems. Managing pipelines, alarms, monitoring, and documentation.
Motivated and curious, and determined in the face of interesting or challenging problems. Working towards improving software development skills, has been developing front end web development by learning Angular, Next JS (React), and Flutter in his free time. Looking to utilize those skills, or any position where I can grow or learn.

June 2013 - March 2018
Worked as a member of the support team for supply chain systems.
When on-call: Handled high severity pages from about 20 teams, including large scale real-time procurement and fulfillment systems.
Expectation was to triage, troubleshoot, deep dive, and identify the root cause of these issues in real time.
When not on call: owner of ticket queue and deep dived low severity issues; driving resolution of all recurring issues.
Managed pipelines, monitoring, fleet capacity and scaling, logging, migrations/config changes, DNS and load-balancer configurations.
Made updates to the support teams internal Rails website, adding features to streamline support responsibilities.
Worked on coding projects for supported teams, small bug fixes, dependency migrations, distributed jobs for data collection and analysis, and feature requests suitable for entry level developers.

Responsibilities include functional testing, root cause analysis, defect tracking which includes writing SQL queries, debugging problem orders, working with developers and business analysts to ensure quality from design and work out design flaws before they happen.
